after my first attempt at doing a proper entry for the 11 second club, i thought i'd try a second one for january, how ever it was never finished intime, for this animation i decided to do a 3d animation, testing different rigs to see which one i could use and match the audio with, sadly all the female rigs i used such as mery and bonnie, they both failed, as mery was over complicated and bonnie was missing some areas, such as the teeth wouldnt open so it was impossible to create the lip syncing, so i settled for max, a very common and simple 3d model rig. even though it is kind of classed as a male rig, i used it for the female audio, it was simple and easy to use, very strauight forward, i thought using this model would be ideal as i have no experince in 3d modeling/ animation what so ever
this is the max rig i used, as said very simple in appearance, but it has everything that is needed, such as bones for all the limbs and fingers, perfect facial features and expressions, its able to be textured or left on its own it's all up to the animatior.
i spent about 1 week and a half on my animation and it was atleast 50%
complete, but sadly i missed the deadline as i had to balance other work
with it, but atleast i had something to show i had some work during the month of january
